Trimmers are overseen by the master grow. Looking for a person that wants to learn and must be very detail oriented.
This is a 35-40 hours weekly position.
Trimmers are responsible for manicuring wet or dry flower from the stalk and break down plants to process/trim them to meet the quality standards.
Also responsible for tracking the batches that they trim including the final finished product, the usable by-product amount (trim), and the un-usable by-product (waste) according to company policy and practices, as well as state, local and MED laws and regulations.
Responsibilities of the Trimmer includes but are not limited to: Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower;
Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
Employee must show up on time for work everyday ready to work.
Trim staff must have a basic understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the MMED; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must pass any and all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must be approved by the MMED to receive a support badge
High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred.
1-2 years experience processing medical marijuana or other botanicals preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Pay: $10.00 – $12.00 /hour DOE, comprehensive benefits package available after 60 days. Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off and 401k.
